Dancing to Decrease Mental Health Stigma

On Thursday, May 30th, the Mental Health Action team hosted their third annual Flash Mob for Mental Health Awareness Month. The flash mob was located at the corner of Hastings Way and Brackett Avenue.  This year, the event starred the Fall Creek Dance Team. Dancers and Mental Health Action Team Members danced and held signs with messages intended to decrease stigma around the topic of mental health. Music was provided by a local DJ. The event was a great success this year as evidenced by many honks, thumbs-ups, waves waiters dancing in their seats.
