We are a few steps into 2019 and we are thrilled to see the work of Eau Claire develop as we continue to thaw from a tough winter. The extra snow days gave us time to reflect on the action that Eau Claire County and Eau Claire Healthy Communities accomplished in 2018 and are excited to share the results with everyone. Each action team put in a lot of work, and some of that work will be continuing into this year. We are happy to say that we had a lot of material in front of us, but we wanted to keep it brief. Take a moment to read through some of the work that our community has been putting in! Have friends, coworkers, or family members that aren’t aware of Healthy Communities? Feel free to share this with them. If they feel empowered, we hope that they also get involved.

Along with every successful year, we look forward to celebrating these and many more accomplishments at our Annual Celebration. We organize this event in order to acknowledge all of the passion of our community, connect with other members, and learn how we can progress the work needed in Eau Claire County. The celebration will be taking place on Thursday, April 25th from 5:15 to 7:30pm at the Chippewa Valley Technical College’s Business Education Center (Room 103 A/B).
